we’re makers who live in rhode island.

we started this project to bring beautiful, luxurious, affordable candles to our community. we also want to reduce our carbon footprint as much as is manageable.

to both of these ends: we’re welcoming the EMBER VESSEL.

when you’re done with your candle, you can rinse your container to keep treasures in, or rejoin us on our site to order a puck of whatever scent would most please you. when your puck of wax arrives, you simply slot it back into the EMBER VESSEL  and, hey – that’s a brand new candle.

our candles and the stories they tell are built around attention to detail, a love of personal mythology, and a belief that everyday life can be romantic and remarkable.

three fates candles can be bought and burnt separately, or purchased together: we like symmetry, and so our three core scents VERNAL, RIOTOUS and QUICKEN follow the story of every changing year.

each of our seasonal collections also contains three discrete delights, but they’re designed to complement each other if burned simultaneously. we want to give you the power to move through the season as you move through your space. or make every room october. we’d love that too.
